Oil Painting, 24"x48" or 2'X4'Based off of Zack Snyder's Batman in the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, played by Ben Affleck. In this moment, Batman has discovered a broken and beaten Robin (blood on the ground) thanks to the Joker. This is the turning point that makes Batman go from knight, to DARK Knight. The moment when Batman has made the decision to go darker and grittier, the Batman we see in Frank Miller's universe.
And even though the movie got bad reviews (personally I don't see why, I gave it a solid 7.5/10), I fell in love with this portrayal of Batman. Everything about the character was sheer awesome and definitely stood out as a unique and true to the comics feel. This is truly the dark, brooding Batman that I have been waiting for. I should also mention, that the "Ha Ha Ha"s that are in the background also glow under black light (a little special touch).
Also if anyone thinks that this Batman sucks due to how he kills people (mild spoiler), you obviously have not read a single Batman comic or seen any other Batman movie. Yes, Batman is a lot crueler in this movie, but Batman has killed people, multiple times even. Don't believe me?
