Whenever the weather changes it always reminds me of what I refer to as “the time before” and in this particular situation the time before lasted but an instant and yet stood still in a house of mirrors. Happiness appeared and disappeared and through the maze I realized that was all it was; a house of fun. And fun I had. Knowing all good things come to an end- I don't particularly think it was "the time before" I’ve missed so much or that I considered to be such a good thing- it was the maze in which the protracted perfume of amusement led me down corridor after corridor of self discovery and immense adventure. I have come to terms with the time before and I would not have changed a thing. Maybe one day I'll come across that house of mirrors again, but until then I try to forget. But forget I have not.
