Description I once met a broken heart
Who sang a song of placid art.
Art with a view,
But art without you
Hardly seems like it’s worth loving.

And I was raised to be this fool
In others eyes, but we knew
That I had a superior stance
Until my skin turned blue
And I died with a glance.

Then I was left there,
Holding nothing but my lies
And their deceit,
But you tore that all down
And opened my eyes.

It’s almost like I was stunned.
Stunned and shot from my perchless cage.
I was flying around now I’ve hit the ground
And I want it to stay this way.

The time keeps clicking,
It’s 5:09 and tired of this.

When you don’t sleep
And you don’t dream
You treasure dreams in your life.
But when you’ve got love
And nothing else
You still find a means to survive.

And I broke when I saw it,
Hearing the cries of a stolid menace.
I tried to console it
But no one ever really cared
For him.

It’s shorter than I ever thought
I could pour my heart and then I’ve stopped.
