The human race has kept track of time for thousands of years by now, and every step of the way has been an adventure, another step towards our dominance. By the year 2005, by this day, we have obtained dominance over all species on Earth, becoming one of the weakest in body, but the strongest in number and mind. We have warred with each other, warred against other creatures, and experienced countless different things in our short time on our world, which has been around far longer than we have, but we cannot be stopped. It is my belief that humanity will never cease to progress. It will never stop evolving, and our technologies will become something nothing will be able to compare to. We will discover new races, they will not discover us. Humanity will live and die as the generations progress. It does not matter what happens to the individual, as other species have taught us. A human has roughly eighty to a hundred years of life to live, and if the body is kept in good condition, and for about 40-50 of those years the body is capable of doing almost anything we set our minds to. While frail in form and appearance, our mental abilities allow us to take much more punishment and training than any other animal would endure freely. We went from basic tool and primitive devices, to guns and nuclear weaponry. Nothing will ever block our path to the stars, and we will leave Earth long before it’s time runs short. I am a humanist. And the defininition of that if someone who believes in humanity, one who would sacrifice themselves for a greater purpose in life, to continue the human race. One can enjoy life while doing so, but the real challenge, is making the right decisions to help our race. There is no salvation, there is hope. There is no afterlife, there is the younger generation…
