from my side there was no illwill whatsoever and then you come by all "unnessarily" defensive
would you rather had me go and simply say that i don´t like it,
that i find that it is a misdepiction of a greek mythological creature/being, that doesn´t exist and as such no one knows how it looks like
or do you rather have me not comment at all and have the commentsection be all but .. "ah this looks awesome!!" because you can´t stand a black or grey dot on a white page?

whatever in this case simply means that i don´t realy care about how the artist/illustrator depicts her version if that´s the way she wants to depict it
i merely stated that to me it simply looks not like how the creauture is usualy depicted
there is no praise neither critique in that sentence

Then you had no reason to comment other than wanting to. If you didn't appreciate the artist's rendition, then you didn't need to comment. Otherwise, if the artist doesn't mind, offer constructive critique.

I love how the older your harpies get the more elongated and lean they become. Hashka, being younger, looks like a human with grey skin and bat-wings, whereas the older Charienne has that more "monstrous" look to her. The elongated fingers and neck along with an almost emaciated look really drives home that she's only a humanoid.
The really cool thing, though, is that the sinewy look of Charienne's sides, collarbone, and neck don't look bad. She actually looks quite beautiful still. The claw-like look of her fingers seems fitting. If she were human I'd be concerned, but as a harpy it just looks.... right.
