Not sure. Always thought he will be presented in a darker painting with rough and vague brush strokes. But that's how I imagined it in my head, that's why your work threw a curve ball at me

Totally understand. I think that they're opposites in a way. Joker is not very physical, so he needs good dialogue and acting skills, which were executed greatly. any action from him was something extremely violent to make up for him not being physical. Bane, they gave him less dialogue, a strange voice, but he's 100% physical. If you look deeper, Both movies are very similar, the difference is Batman is tested mentally in TDK (rightfully so, its Joker/Two-Face)and physically in TDKR (he's older, out of practice, Bane's stronger and knows his moves). So it's really what people prefer in the villain of Batman, good acting and dialogue or brutality. I like both, but I think Bane would be more believable because a big dude on drugs is more realistic to me.( and he makes people look like children in a fight. lol)
