Maia is the goddess of fertility and pregnancy, she is very beautiful, with fair skin, long golden blonde hair, and eyes are the color of the blue sky. She's tall and somewhat muscular, and often seems mysterious. She is also associated with labor and birth. She is often worshipped by mothers. Her followers can be primarily distinguished by their clothes, commonly white robes and blue circlets. Her shrines can be found in many cities. There are many myths involving her being a surrogate mother, giving birth, and making mortal women pregnant either as gifts or punishments.

She's the daughter of Dara the goddess of life and Toz the god of the sky and chief god. When Maia was 18, she had a flat stomach. She was hungry that she was about to go to the dining hall of the gods, Kork the trickster god saw the young goddess, he asked her if he can get anything to eat for her, Maia wasn't too sure if she can trust Kork after all the tricks he pulled out and usually ask the servants to get her food. No servants are nearby, she agrees, Kork went to the tree of life, and grabbed a fertility fruit.

Kork disguised the fruit as a pomegranate. He gave Maia the fruit, she went to her room and took a bite into it. She loved how it tasted that she finished the fruit, Maia felt a weird feeling in her stomach, she lays down in her bed, her womb expanded into a pregnant belly. Her father Toz saw that Maia is pregnant, Maia told him Kork did it, he thought Kork is the father. Toz held Kork in the neck and demanded to know how his daughter became pregnant. Kork told him that he took a fertility fruit from the tree of life, he had also disguised it as a pomegranate. One of servants that witnessed it told Toz it's true. Toz banned Kork from the tree of life, so he is never allowed to go to there and take another fertility fruit again. Maia actually likes her new pregnant body, since those that ate the fruit become permanently pregnant. Maia declares herself as the goddess of fertility and pregnancy.
