Actually, this makes me think of Star Wars instead of Bladerunner. It has a very star warsy feel to it. I could just see this guy hanging out in Mos Eisley waiting for someone to employ his expertise.

He even somewhat resembles a bounty hunter named Calo Nord in that Star Wars game; Knights of the Old Republic.

Bladerunner is a good setting for this guy. But he also works well with the robot you posted previously.
