Description
During a journey through the underworld, one warrior sacrifices himself for the greater good.This piece was partly inspired by an element found in many myths, (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc.) where one hero sacrifices himself to save the lives of many.

A level 35 Warrior with a warhammer, lots of protecting magic on him and being a magic warhammer +5 adding some sonic damage to the creature... yeah, I think he can do it.

One doesn't really get the theme of "sacrifice" in this piece. Its more or less just an epic fight with bystanders walking towards it going "Hay check that out!".
I think it would've been more effective to narrate your idea by depicting the people other than the warrior fleeing from the scene as if he were buying them time to get away. Maybe have one looking back in horror and what not.
Otherwise though, wow, great work. Really love the use of warm colors and silhouettes.

One thing bothers me however; the other characters (bar the guy on the ledge) seem to not really give a shit that this guy is risking/sacrificing his life for theirs? Maybe this was your intention, but I find it a wee bit unsettling that they're just continuing on their journey without giving a toss for their soon to be dead comrade.

I believe they're usually called "Christ figures". Can you really think of a good epic without one?
Great use of only yellow and red (black doesn't count). Great composition if you want every visual element to lead straight to the monster. However, the monster overpowers the piece so much, that you really don't even notice the hero unless you read the description. Since he's SUPPOSED to be the subject, you should draw the viewers more towards him. I also can't see ANY visual references suggesting that he's sacrificing himself for the others.
