i painted this a long time ago
when i was a teenager. i think maybe 16 years old.
after a year or more of really bad times.

i sold it recently, at a show and sale at a local hospital
in honour of National Mental Health Awareness Week.

i don't remember if i used black at all in this -- i think i might have done it all with blues.
