-Bio: Once upon a time, an unsuspecting tabby fell asleep in a warm cozy barn. There were two young cats nearby, snoring loudly and seemingly dead to the world, one of which had circular blue and pink markings, and the other brown stripes. But when the tabby awoke, his paws were tied up, his tail was shaved, his eyes were blindfolded - and, worst of all, his bag of gold had vanished.
The two cats, of course, were Loki and the Great Catsby (or Catsby, to those who are not as great as he is). And, just like the poor tabby, many have suffered from their thieving ways. Like the elderly Maine Coon, who accidentally bumped into Catsby, and a second later discovered that his pockets had been slit. Or the elegant Persian, who had a lovely conversation with Loki at a party, and then realized too late that her necklace and bracelets had mysteriously disappeared.
And, just as mysteriously, the Persian’s jewelry were later found in the clutches of a poor Ragdoll family, pawning off what they had apparently discovered in a drain. And the Maine Coon’s wallet - and its contents - was also found in the hands of a homeless Munchkin, who swore that two kind brothers had offered him the wallet. The tabby’s bag of gold, though, never turned up anywhere - it had probably been too tempting. And Loki and Catsby are very easily tempted.
The success of their exploits can perhaps be attributed to their amazing ability to work together. They are able to finish each other’s sentences, and often know what the other is thinking before a single word is uttered. Such near-telepathic abilities, coupled with their natural talent for thievery and womanizing, make them an extremely formidable duo. And, with Loki’s brains and Catsby’s brawn, they complement each other perfectly.
One is never seen without the other - in fact, one probably could not even live without the other. With this inseparable duo in action, all cats would do well to hold tight to their purses and to always keep an eye on those sticky little paws.
And, even then, no one would stand much of a chance against the pair’s thievery.
