Sometime later, Manx mounts a few more UHF booster transmitters around the Isle to compliment the main Douglas transmitter. This also coincided with the ITA making use of the Sound Broadcasting Act of 1972 and subsequently renaming itself the IBA (Independent Broadcasting Authority).
