Here it is, finally. This thing took three weeks easy. I'd say one week was just spent watching the episodes looking for screen captures for reference for each part of the illustration. The pencils and putting everything together was pretty quick and smooth. Then about a week and a half ago, I started in photoshop on the colors. I spent at least two hours a day on this since then. What I'm getting at is that this was one of, if not most involved illustration I've ever done.This is a homage to Drew Struzan's poster for "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. He's been my favorite artists for a long while, and I've always wanted to do a piece like this. I also wanted to do a Mythbusters-related illustration, because it's one of the few shows on tv I really watch. I guess it was Adam's fedora that really married the two ideas together. I hope somebody digs it.
Mythbusters are probably trademarked by Discovery.

I have a huge favor to ask. Could I use this as a splash art leading into a fancomic of mine, which links the Scooby-Doo gang with the world of Indiana Jones?
In the particular chapter, the gang visits the MITH Department (Military Institute for Technology and HUMINT), where an Adam and Jamey work, building (nonlethal) weapons for the government.
I would, of course, post your name (primusjim) on the artwork, list it in the credits, and send you a copy when it is finished (in several months).

Well, I'd agree these are among the best moments from the first season, which is all I had to work with when I did this piece. but, there have been a lot of great moments since then. Jamie slapping Adam on highspeed comes to mind. Thanks.
