Yeah, that little alien, Sgt. Keroro can be freaky at times alright.

If you've seen the anime, you'll notice it has a lot of references to several Gundam series, including Seed/Destiny. There was even an episode where one of the characters used a weapon that resembled the Providence Gundam's Dragoons! There was even a scene where Keroro himself used a self-detonation device. Although that was more of a Gundam Wing spoof.

Yep! That's true! I imagine Athrun's gonna be really annoyed that the self-destruct gag is being used in several other anime, including Hayate the Combat Butler!

Thing is, the self-destruct tradition started way back in 1995 during the Gundam Wing days, if memory serves me right. Oh well, at least the legacy lives with Athrun!
