Pretty good artwork of the triplets and their black counterpart (adopted sister, maybe? If so, that shows another good side to them, as their family may have bought her from a slave auction and then basically freed her, especially when her attire strongly suggests she is NOT a slave.).
It's funny really, Belle's supposed to be the beauty of the story, and yet not only are those three girls outranking Belle in terms of external beauty (honestly, you're more likely to find girls with their body frames in Dead or Alive than you are with Belle's body frame), but thanks to frankly poor characterization in the movie courtesy of Jeffrey Katzenberg and his desire for a "feminist twist" to the story (which came closer to misandry, but I digress), they even came across as being more internally beautiful than Belle. It's even implied that they valued her as a friend since they were personally helping set up the wedding for Belle and Gaston without even knowing the latter's stance as the groom. We see Belle do a lot of stuff in her movie that calls internal beauty into question, yet these girls don't seem to demonstrate ANYTHING that would hint at them being internally ugly, even with their crush on Gaston which came across as more innocent than truly lustful. Not saying I like them, as I'm personally more neutral to them at best (their liking someone like Gaston basically prevents me from truly liking them, though I got to hand it to them, they're at least loyal enough that they actually fulfilled the marriage vows to Gaston regarding loyalty to him until his death, or at least until he basically loudly boasted about his plan to incarcerate Maurice in the reprise.), but still... That was actually a bit of a flaw with the story (and if you ask me, somewhat of a major flaw). Belle's supposed to be the epitome of beauty, both internal and external, yet she doesn't really have any real foils to demonstrate this. Snow White, Cinderella, even The Little Mermaid had foils to demonstrate this, and the last one wasn't even a true beauty comes from within tale at all. Marvel Comics, to their credit, did try to give them internally ugly characteristics to actually make Belle more beautiful than them, at least on the inside, but unfortunately, their execution was flawed as the intended ugly characterization actually resulted in conflicts with how they were depicted in the actual film (for starters, ignoring the fact that they were strongly implied at one point to actually think Belle SHOULD have gone for Gaston despite their crush on him, or at least was angered and baffled that she would refuse Gaston [neither of which would even remotely hint at jealousy and in fact would point to the exact opposite of jealousy], had their comic versions been anything like how they were in the movie, they would have made sure they sabotaged Belle and Gaston's wedding the very second they discovered Gaston was the groom out of spite for the former, NOT simply cry up a storm. Well, technically, they probably wouldn't even BE at the wedding in the first place and helping set up due to the comics making clear that by that point they weren't actually friends of Belle, but I digress...).
