But African Elephants are indeed incredible creatures. Being the largest of all land animals. They can eat over 300 pounds of vegetation and drink 30 gallons of water a day, travel for miles a day, and live in family herds with deep social and emotional bonds. And they’re quite intelligent, and can solve basic puzzles, and have long memories. They never forget a face!

However, these animals are in trouble. The ivory trade, competition with farmers, and habitat loss has dwindled their population. If you wish to help elephants, consider donating to charities like the African Wildlife Foundation and 96 Elephants. If we all work together, we can save this endangered species!
