Description
Height 5 foot 7 inchesDex Entry: Infekdread are notoriously hard to keep down. Although their bodies appear frail and worn down, they can take an enourmous amount of abuse. Infekdread often use BITE during battle, with a strange effect. If left untreated, a bitten pokemon may go through a strange phenomenon, where it “evolves” into a new Zomby.
Ability
-Infect-
Attacks involving bites or scratches will change the opponent's ability into "Infected".
-Infected-
Slowly lowers maximum HP with every taken step. If pokemon is knocked out, it will 'evolve' into a Zomby unless revived within 3 minutes of KO. Ability can be reversed only at Pokemon Centers. Once an infected pokemon has been KO'd, reviving the pokemon will not reset the 3 minute count down to transformation.
Evolves from [link] at level 36.
Name origin is a combination of Infect & dread.
(I was thinking about Infekdead at first...but I thought it would sound too much like Infected...)
Shinies are suppose to look like the colorful Day of the Dead skeletons.

I don't know if any one has already said this, but what if instead of BITE, it's signiture move was something like ZOMBITE. It could inflict damage and cause an effect like confusion or poisoning.

that way it is easy to make it out with your pokemon you worked hard on....say you ran into one out in the open

yeah....i wouldnt want to run into it randomly just out of nowhere even if it is only in one part of the region.....i would hate for hard earnd work to go down the drain cause of an ifection

And Infekdread are only found in a swamp area of the region, and even there they're pretty rare. Zomby are all over the place but they dont have the same ability connected to their bite.

Well, i did some thinking. What if say, a Wailord was bitten by an Infecdread and turned into a Zomby, would is shrink down or would it be an abnormally large Zomby?

I really like this one - it's so reminiscent of the more recent Pokémon added to the Pokédex that it could easily pass as an official one. It doesn't seem to look like any other Pokémon in particular - I just can't stop thinking that you've captured the style about perfectly.

So what if Infekdead sounds like infected? He IS infected is he? 
Okay, so imagine if you have something like Rayquaza in your party. It's level 100. It's Shiny. It was not used via gameshark or action replay. You get bitten by that jerk. Now you have a level 100 Zomby and no Rayquaza. You get the RAGE face.
What do you do?! >:U

Well, there would only one area of the game you encounter Zomby/Infekdread in. Granted, your first time going through the area you may not know of the transformatory qualities of its residents...but if your pokemon is level 100 I would assume you would have been through it already and known
Also, although it wouldnt be outright stated, before ever entering the area the game would give you hints as to the danger of the area.
On top of all that, your pokemon can be cured before it turns. You have a certain amount of time you can bring it to a pokecenter to cure it before it transforms.
And lastly...it wouldnt become a lvl 100 Zomby... ^_^;;
It doesnt revert all the way back to level 1, but it would decrease the level in proportion to how high the original pokemons level was. Dont ask me how the proportioning works...idk. I hate math and refuse to think any deeper on it than this. lol
It would however, upon evolving to an Infekdread, jump back up to its original level.

Anyway the Zombies in those games are known as the "infected," and are classed into different groups based on what they do/how they function in the game (Hunters, Boomers, Witches, etc.). If you die because of them then I think you become a zombie (if not its still a game over).
So... blah.

XD well it worked perfectly. Im not sure if you are still making these pokemon guys but I think you should make a fighting flying type. Ive always imagined some like phycho cock (the bird) from those illegal cock fight things being a good one XD.

I had stopped for a while, but as it turns out I'm about to start back again. I just redrew my Mewtwo evolution & finished it today. I'm not uploading it til I finish the other one too tho, & I want to finish some other ideas & upload a bunch at once anyway.
