It's very fitting that my first post back from a long break would be a meme challenge. I used to do so many of those. This particular finished piece is one of the reasons I decided to come back to here. I actually am really happy with it. Is it perfect? No. Are there many issues with it? Of course, but it has the same feeling as when I used to create art and so I really like it.

I had to re-watch this scene because I could not remember what was happening. In this scene Hotaru turns into Mistress 9 and Sailor Uranus and Neptune start attacking her. Sailor Moon is very upset and conflicted because she knows Hotaru isn't a bad person and doesn't understand why Uranus and Neptune would start attacking her. There's a lot of emotion in this scene and Sailor Moon is very overwhelmed. I added tears even though they weren't in the scene because it felt right. I must have had Super Sailor Moon on the mind because I accidentally gave her yellow stripes instead of white on her collar but that's okay. I went with a cel shading style even though its not my preferred, because I love those fake screen shot looking styles.
