This photo is one I couldn't stop looking at. The child's expression is one I can't figure out (in a good way). Is she scared? Surprised? What can I interpret looking at her. And the head wrapping evokes a creepy feeling in me. Children are not usually censored and this one's mouth being covered makes me wonder if someone is shutting her up or if she is silent by choice. Would she be beautiful once she was uncovered? Would she be scarred? I want to unwrap her, unsuffocate her. This piece just makes you stare at it. The photography is beautiful and the softness of it gives it an etherial quality. I love how the color of her eyes pop and the background is neutral so you can focus on the subject. Good job, in my opinion!
