Anyway, some friends and I have started a new dnd campaign where basic starting plot is some eccentric paladin, that we all met at some point in the past, died and left his mini kingdom/ city to the three of us. You know, the most qualified people for the job.

After confronting the head of a lich, Gilig, he promised to help rid the manor of the man-eating plants. In return we had to defeat the head of the ratlings. We decided to rush in to the keep, which is where all the ratlings are, and were almost defeated by ten ratlings. We left the keep in an injured state, and decided to come up with a plan and try again. Gilig promised to not cause any problems, and we would put him somewhere in the middle of the woods so he could pied-piper the rest of the ratlings out.
