for *SaganuHe's a wizard apprentice who's practicing his summoning skills, but...he accidently summoned a flying fish...
...hmm, there are probably problems with the perspective in the bg, but I tried my best ^^, and deciding on the lighting was interesting to say the least.
...so...this turned out to be the last picture of '06, and what an eventful year it was. XD Looking back at the last picture I drew last year [link] , I'm a bit surprised and happy at how far I've come. I hope 2007 will also bring a lot of artistic growth for me...

This picture is too astounding for words, but I will still do my best to describe my awe;
When I take a look at this amazing piece of work, a shiver races the length of my spine and spreads through my shoulders, spiking the base of my neck. It's such a sensation for the mind and eyecandy to see! Every small fleck of detail in this is admiralbe, from the stars in the sky to the red at the corners of the eyes, to the patterns watermarked on the house and various other places, and even the smallest highlights on the jewelry. It's all beautiful.
The glow of every stroke of colour brings out the spirit of this magnificent picture. Getting the colour perfect must've been quite a challenge, considering how many rich tones and hues you have produced onto the screen. The fish is a great example of this; what with all of the greens and oranges and reds, not to mention the bright goldeny touch with the scales.
The character's face is so calm, yet you can see this image is bursting with energy of it's own kind. His face is very smoothly done, and oh so very adoralbe! our prowess in anime is incredible, because you can get the symmetry of a face so perfect! And you complete it with a fair, white (yet not pale due to the bright undertones) skin, and smooth rosy lips and cute nose. And those eyes! They are so bold even though they are a minor part of the picture.
Also, the hair. That's something else that is also very smooth. The yellow strokes for the highlights really just add to the effect of the glow. I love how it just falls softly on the face, and the darker colour brings out the face as well!
Another thing to pay attention to is your clothing designs. How do you come up with such things? And the patterns on everything! It gives something extra in all of your works that you never see.
This picture is so warm and rich, the intensity crowding around the red fire under his well-drawn hand sends burning sensation into my chest, warming the pit of my heart. And those leaves! How the hell did you make them? They are so detailed and smooth and flawlessly done!
This picture just made my day. You haven't a clue how great images like this just hit me and heighten my mood. I hope that my compliments to you also heighten your mood. It would be nice if you would reply so I could be sure that you have read through this comment. It would ensure me that my words have not been all for not. But if you do not, I of course understand. You probably are busy already because you get so many comments, and I'm not that important anyway, but I'd just like you to know that this is one of the best pictures I've seen in a long time *nodnod*
