for *SaganuHe's a wizard apprentice who's practicing his summoning skills, but...he accidently summoned a flying fish...
...hmm, there are probably problems with the perspective in the bg, but I tried my best ^^, and deciding on the lighting was interesting to say the least.
...so...this turned out to be the last picture of '06, and what an eventful year it was. XD Looking back at the last picture I drew last year [link] , I'm a bit surprised and happy at how far I've come. I hope 2007 will also bring a lot of artistic growth for me...

But I have to say what I think..
The first thing I noticed in this picture was actually the fish.
Very well done, with so many details and..
I want to say good usage of color, but it's more than that.
You made the picture seem like it was-in my mind, old/using the techniques of painters long ago.
I know that sounds crazy, but this is just amazing to me.
I also noticed the background, but I thought it was an intentional usage of perspective until you actually said something about it.
It kind of gave him an all important appeal, like he was only in your mind-a vision.
Anywhoo, haha. Sorry! I talk too much about crazy stuff. TT^TT

And, I know I will say it for every other drawing of yours, but GORGEOUS textures. *3* I really admire how you can use textures and patterns so well. Not only on clothes but even on backgrounds.
