Hello, in this redstone tip, I will show you some examples of mob traps in Minecraft. Traps can be easy to make, such as the iron door cage trap on the right, you only need to use a pressure plate and 4 iron doors for that, but have you ever heard of the pitfall piston fence trap? To make such a trap, you will need fences, pressure plates, and most importantly, pistons, NOT sticky pistons. As you can see, the trap on the left, which is the pitfall piston fence trap, it has to have a dug out portion of the trap to make it effective, the pistons move the fences on top of them upward moving them to connect them to the fence corners, and since this doesn't use sticky pistons, the fences will stay up there while the mob is trapped. These kinds of traps are best for zombies, but they can be used for skeletons if you know how to kill them in Minecraft without taking too much damage, they can also be effective on witches, zombie pigmen, creepers, and you can possibly trap spiders with the right adjustments to the traps.
