This is a screenshot I took while I was testing out the Betweenlands mod for Minecraft 1.7.10, and I have to say this, this mod...by far...is the most...terrifying mod...in all of Minecraft history. The mod itself is centered around a dimension, similar to erebus or twilight forest, but this is more of a swampland dimension, this dimension is full of large trees, various plants, some of the plants are very deadly, and some are used to get health back. One of the most scariest features is that whenever you are in the dimension, there is a new kind of health bar, called the Decay bar, that's right, you literally start to decay when you are in this dimension, the decay effect takes your health down to 3 hearts when the decay bar is empty, and worst of all, the decay effect will change your minecraft player skin until you get the decay bar back up using special items only found in the dimension, the only thing is that your player skin changes but your head still stays the same. But this screenshot shows one of the most terrifying features of this mod, dense fog....., when the dense fog occurs, you start to see shapes and glowing eyes moving slowly towards you, but the scary part is that when you go towards them, they disappear. The mobs in this mod are equally terrifying, while some are small, such as geckos, there are others that will make you scream, there are huge termites, piranha like angler fish, mosasaur like water monsters, large dragonflies, and others that are unspeakable horrors, I might try to find them and post screenshots of them later.
