Description: The Capybara is a large species of rodent that is native to a large portion of South America, this is the largest rodent species alive today, closely related to Guinea Pigs and the Rock Cavy. Many fossilized ancestors of the modern Capybara have been found, and the only other living member of the genus is the Lesser Capybara, which has a much shorter range than this specific Capybara species shown here, also known as the Greater Capybara. Despite their large size compared to other rodents, Capybaras are excellent swimmers, a majority of their habitat is around large bodies of water where they can dine on aquatic plants, grasses, fruit and tree bark. However swimming is very risky in their habitat, though they are the biggest rodent species and can swim & run at good speeds to evade predation, they are still prey for Jaguars, Caiman, Anacondas, the South American Cougar, Eagles, and Ocelots. But despite so many predators, Capybaras are a highly social and docile species, normally Capybaras can be seen in large social groups as large as 100 individuals, and on many occasions, due to its calm and peaceful behavior when not threatened, Capybaras can be seen relaxing around other species and even some of its predators.

Personal Thoughts: I have seen these animals several times in multiple zoos, a lot of zoos I've seen even merge them in with other species, like Giant Anteaters I have seen in one zoo. This kind of animal is definitely a must need for a South American themed zoo, or any zoo for that matter. This animal has no bugs or glitches, the modeling and textures are accurate compared to the real animal, and it can breed properly in the game. I highly recommend checking this mod out and implementing it in a zoo.
