Description
"Should I or should I not kill the annoying flying baby creature...?"On another note, boy, do centaurs drive me crazy. It didn't used to, but a while back I thought about all the things wrong with said anatomy: the classical approach LOOKS nice, sure, and people don't usually think about this sort of thing, but putting a human torso on where the neck of the horse used to be will put way more weight on the front end of the creature than there should be, giving them a bad center of gravity (if that guy so much as trips, it's game over. And you can forget about it trying to rear up on its hind legs). On top of that, how would organ distribution work? You cant' tell me that a centaur would have both human organs in its chest and in the horse region, because nature doesn't give you more organs than you need.
So for this one, I tried to give it a more sensible design by reducing the length of the torso so that the arms and front legs are closer together, and making the front legs thick enough to support the extra weight. I also decided to give him a savage barbarian culture in the meantime. The cherub, on the other hand, is kind of a nod to one of my least favorite sections in Fantasia.

I like the body redesign. you're right, it makes a LOT more sense. Looks like you even narrowed up the stomach, because an onmivorous centaur wouldn't need as much intestine as a horse.
