Indoctrination's subtle art,
Guiding from the very start.
Good or bad, the paths we tread,
Choices made, a life is led.
Consequences echo loud,
In the choices we endowed.
Loved or unloved, shadows cast,
Smart or stupid, judgments vast.
Facing self, a daunting stare,
Comparing insides to oneβs outsides a dare.
In the mirror of despair,
A warm body, shrouded in care.
Sinking into thinning air,
Lost in a world so unaware.
