The lack of a scanner is a good thing! It looks like the drawing is escaping into your work space!

You shouldn't scan it either, it looks even more three-dimensional in just the photo of it. 8D
Great work!

Are you a wizard? The concept is cool, too. Reminds me of F1 cars and elephants.

i am trying to convince myself that it is a drawing and not a real thing flying over that piece of paper ... this pic is much more better than using a scanner ... it is more convincing and giving the impression that the object is real and flying ... this is awesome

We should start a company together ..idea: 1.Comic book 2.Video game (MP since the book could be its story) 3. Sculptures, Models, Collectibles Figurines...etc

Look to the right. It's pastel applied with cotton pads. Standard ID technique.

O.o Damn!
For a moment I was wondering whether or not you added the ship to a photo and made it look like it was drawn on paper, so much does it feel like it's reflecting the light and almost hovering over the paper. A bit confusing since you tagged it as digital art, though your comment cleared that up.
Looks awesome

I agree with someone saying that scanner could ruin the effect, now it seems like floating above the piece of paper! Quite a nice effect also I believe details are alright, they gave it this rawness, construction look of something build from parts, plus some markings. Nah, it's perfectly fine
What media did you use?
PS. Is this a digital art? If not, then I think you mistaken categories!

Very clever placement of the desk lamp there, how did you get such soft natural surface blending in your shading?
