I was so excited to have a weekend (and a relatively pretty weekend forecast, we've had some terrible weather this summer here) so my muscle man and our roommate headed out to go enjoy being young! We decided to rent one of the little paddle boat things as they wouldn't let 3 adults in a canoe (but 2 overweight adults with 4 rowdy and yelling children was, apparently, just fine... go figure) but I didn't want to bring along expensive equipment, so I grabbed up my 50mm and the old camera body, just in case something happened that caused everything to take an unexpected swim haha.. .Everything turned out fine, and it was quite a fun little trip! It was a great way to spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon
