My Hellsing Doujin I'll be working on shows more of the Millennium and Iscariot members for panel/screen time while staying with the story of the original. Not every character will be touched but Rip van Winkle and The Captain will have more light shed on them. It's an action/drama/comedy so you'll see funny things happen amongst most of the characters.
As soon as my tablet starts to work again or I get a new one.

Meaning your storyboard layout..
For example, take mine: Black Wolf Dio (my OC and the guy in this picture with Rip and here: project00wolfen.deviantart.com⦠) is assigned from the United States Paranormal Investigation Department (U.S.P.I.D.), a secret service of America that, well, investigates paranormal activities not just to include vampires and zombies but also demons, angels, banshee and other mythological monsters that people or cults have been getting their hands on when trying to summon these monstrosities, to the Hellsing Organization over in England to aid them (but not really be apart of them) in their investigations. This is due to ghoul or vampire outbreaks that may take place during the day since Alucard is stronger during the night.
BW Dio has encountered Rip Van Winkle twice prior to his departure to England and has fell in love with the Nazi Vampire Sniper since then. She practically hates him at the beginning of the story as they have a weird rivalry since he takes the situation lightly as she constantly bring up that they are enemies. Again, he takes their situation lightly. Millennium has caught attention of Dio's fight with Alucard before he entered Hellsing territory and are interested in introducing him into their ranks. Something Rip disapproves of but later warms up to. This introduction cause Dio to strike an intense, yet, respectable rivalry towards The Captain (them paralleling Alucard and Anderson) while garnering a hateful rivalry from Luke Valentine (who tries to learn of the Wolfen and seeks to become a Wolfen/Vampire hybrid to surpass Alucard).
The Captain is one of the first to notice Rip Van Winkle's true (but hidden) feelings towards Dio and, despite his rivalry, he cleverly gets Dio and Rip close to each other.
Most of Dio's humor comes from Alucard's desire to fight Dio again "for real this time" since Dio impressed him in their first encounter. Dio's take on certain situations and annoyance when Iscariot calls him a werewolf when he says he's a Wolfen. His friendly conversations with Millennium members. Rip constantly hurt people whenever they think she's in love with "ze Black Wolf" (that's how everyone at Millennium mention Dio. Luke is the only one who calls him "Black Wolf Dio" or "Dio".) Fights with The Captain are either epic or comically epic. Dio trying to make Integra smile.
The doujin acts as a "story within the main story" so the events haven't changed but takes place either before, after, or during certain episodes/comic volumes. For example: Anything that deals with Luke and Jan or Tubalcain would take place before OVA 2.
In the end, it'll have action, comedy, drama, with some horror themes. Other drama sections focus on Dio's investigation of Millennium while swooning over Rip Van Winkle, building some relationship with Iscariot, Rip Van Winkle suddenly realizing she likes Dio more than she should. Don't worry, it takes time and a few fight scenes that I expand over since Dio is pushing Rip to see if she's capable of being "a huntress".
