Lust. One of the so-called seven deadly sins. More than greed or wrath or gluttony, lust I believe is the ultimate destroyer of sense. I've seen intelligent, logical people torn down and apart by this malicious desire. Good friends become outrageous jackasses when this ever pulling force takes hold.

Sexual desire is something hardwired into our minds, an uncontrollable program designed to keep the population strong. Virtually all animals have this, vertebrates anyway. However, why must we continue to fall so helplessly captive to these urges when we've evolved so much? Humans have come so much farther than any known species as far as adapting is concerned. We've literally built our own world around us. We've conquered disease, altered the environment, defied gravity and created multiple social systems. Why then, after reworking how we live and interact in every other way, can we not get over this base desire?

I'm not preaching abstinence or celibacy, none of that nonsense. I'm simply trying (most certainly in vain) to bring realization to sex-craved maniacs. Tehre is a problem when sex becomes the focus of one's life and turns into an ultimate goal. Those who let their desire better them are no different in my eyes than an over excited dog plowing at someone's leg. So many I've noticed even let it control their personality, allowing it to be a major facet of themselves.

True, it is a basic need. Food and drink never become this ingrained into your mind unless sstarvation or dehydration is present. Sustenance never dominates lives the way lust does, it doesn't become the end of every joke, it doesn't make one seem a fool, a pig-headed nimrod. You nymphos need to evolve. Imagine how much more your life could be if so much energy wasn't devoted to this act of relief. By energy I don't refer to the act itself, but to the time and effort spent thinking about it, talking about it, trying to obtain it. In fact, for many, the effort converted into success would probably make it -easier- to get 'tail' due to the impression factor. Don't spend time trying to impress, just impress by being impressive and productive. All you sluts and whores and addicts, level (up) your minds and focus on something worthwhile.
