Description
Pictured above: Random sketches of bosses potentially encountered outside of the main areas of the game.Just had a random thought of a video game idea...
Imagine if you actually could ignore a boss and move on to the next level, or in a Metroidvania, the next...level (or room)
Now imagine if that boss, in reaction to your rudeness, decided to chase you down for the rest of the level/game.
Think of a boss, any boss outside of Silent Hill/Resident evil/Onimusha/survival horror game that if you could choose to, would ignore to move on, only to have him/her tail you throughout the rest of the game.
Sorta like ZERO in Sonic Adventure 1, except that the more bosses you ignore, the more you have chasing you down, not necessarily onscreen at once, certain bosses would utilize ambush tactics (Save Rooms? no longer safe :U)
This could lead to some fake-out bosses chasing after you 'defeat' them like if they have a phase 2, or that one Minotaur that badly wants to Shoryuken your Shit!
There could be some strategy to this though, You could lead one boss from an arena where he has an advantage over to an arena where he has a disadvantage. Or you could lead him to rampage throughout areas and access secrets. But Beware: Some bosses may have team up attacks if you group them together!
Imagine how hectic the Pacifist Speedruns would get. Sequence breakers may find some way around it though :U

Well, that certainly sounds like a game where the player has to keep looking over their shoulder.
