My OC, The incredibly not originally named Basil the Basilosaurus. He’s currently a minor character in Ceratops City. While most of my prehistoric characters are fairly up-to-date in some manner, Basil is the first one who’s deliberately somewhat out of date - I based him mostly on Zdenek Burian’s painting of a Basilosaurus from 1964 , which honestly looks more reptilian than cetacean. I always found that painting very striking, so despite it being a bit dated I wanted Basil to be a nod to that particular Basilosaurus.
