Hello again, again! Okay, last one for today. We've had a look at the region, we've met the Starter mons. But who are you?

Please welcome Aidan and Aimee, the protagonists of Project Prism.

Design-wise, these two are inspired by/ pay homage to the protagonists of Gold, Silver, and Crystal, Ethan and Kris. Their more modern, sporty look did always contrast the more traditional setting of the Johto games.

Not much to say about these two. They're your typical player characters, silent most of the time, eager to embark on their adventure, that eventually get tangled up in the plot of the antagonistic forces brewing in the region.

So I guess there's only one question left to answer... Are you a boy or a girl? What? You can't tell by looking?

Yeah, I originally wanted to do a third design (you know, inclusivity and all that), but... looking these to designs over I thought they both already looked very gender non-confirming, with Aidan being slightly feminine looking and Aimee having a more tomboyish design. I also have an idea for style shops spread across Jouen that allow the player to change up their style (similar to BDSPs clothing options), which will have a variety of looks, ranging from very boyish to very girlish.

So, let me know what you think. Are you okay with these two? Or should I maybe just turn them both into one singular trainer design, and let the player choose their style and gender expression via the style shops during the game?

Alternatively, you could implement a character customization feature, where you can choose from a number of different styles, by returning to your own room (so your house would actually have something of value to return to for once...)

Edit: I plan on making a more unisex/ gender neutral single version of these called, who would be called Adyn, combining different design aspects of Aidan and Aimee. Still working on that however...
