Description
The second unit produced under the Zeta program. Unlike conventional aircraft, the wings serve only as stabilizers and assist in directional change; lift is generated through pure thrust force as well as skipping on its own generated sonic boom (See Waver-rider technology [link] ). The lack of an explosive propulsion to move a projectile allow the beam cannon to fire while in wave-rider mode without reducing speed. Currently, only 2 Zeta-series mobile suits are in operation due to build-cost and maintainance-cost.
