Description
You could say this picture is a sequel to this one: [link]This has a FOLLOW-UP now!! Go see! ---> [link]
Sure, the Enterprise and its crew face powerful beings all the time. They get captured pretty much every week. There's no question about that; it happens.
But what DOESN'T happen is for the powerful being of the week being able to take over WITHOUT getting an earful from the captain first.
And then Kirk goes and pretends to give up, while actually plotting a tactic that will save his ship and his crew.
For my fellow McCoy fans, I also did THIS one, with McCoy standing in place of Spock --> [link]
Personally I like it better, but everyone loves Spock, so that's the one I chose to upload.
FUNNIEST COMMENT goes to ~Artema , who said:
"I love that that guy behind Vader is like "Oh shit, is that Captain Kirk? Should I ask for an autograph?" and Spock's got his "Bitch, plz" face on."

A very, very short arguement I would figure. Me b eing a trekkie, I like to think that Kirk would still win force or no force being weilded upon him and his wonderful hair! Spock as you can see in the background is also assured of this and is planning the betting board and the party afterwards.
Great job! And keep playing with that photoshop thingy!! One of us is going to figure this out!

Hahaha, thanks! I can see that being the outcome, too...Kirk and Company have gone up against powerful beings all the time, and they always figure out a way to triumph.
And yes, one of us will eventually get this photoshop thing down!

This is really nice! You should run a caption contest for this one...here are a couple I came up with:
1. Kirk -- "You can take your "force" or whatever you call it and stick it in your ear Vader!"
2. Spock: "Captian, I don't think he likes you."
3. Vader: "I'd be careful where you are sticking that finger bud."

This rocks more more reasons than I can easily count.
I'm sure we both know that JTK and the boys, will come out on top in this contest.
Oh it won't be easy, by any means. Sure the Jedi mind trick will have no effect on the stalwart minds of Starfleet officers, but I'm pretty sure that Vader will opt to force choke the captain and first officer, as a show of--well--force.
This is distressing, but not entirely unexpected. The Star Trek crew always takes it on the chin in the opening round of such a match-up--Kirk would be forced to slap himself silly, Spock would have his legs broken and be forced to spout poetry, Scotty would be struck by lightning, and Uhura would be forced to play harpsichord by an evil space Liberache--but by the end, they always find a way to turn the tables.
Once a gasping Kirk and Spock are brought to sick bay, McCoy will reveal his discovery that the "Blacklung Boogie Man" is getting a micro-organic power-up, as observed by the good doctor's trusty spinning salt-shaker. That's right, not only did Lucas ruin his own mythos with the invention of medichlorians, but in so doing, he also handed ultimate victory to Star Trek.
The simple reason McCoy isn't in the picture above, is because he was busy in Sickbay---culturing medichlorians!
In addition to the standard medical treatment, necessitated by their first round defeat, he'll hypospray enough medichlorians into Kirk and Spock to make Vader think he's a padawan again. (It worked in "Plato's Stepchildren.")
Five minutes later, JTK is reading the righteous riot act to a bowed and defeated Vader.
"A TRUE leader has the strength to guide his people without losing sight of his own principles. When he sacrifices them--throws away everything he KNOWS to be RIGHT and JUST, in order to hold onto that last scrape of power for a few more seconds?
Well, that's not strength.
That's just force."
Oh, and the Death Star vs. the Enterprise?
Please.
Ever see The Doomsday Machine? The Planet Killer had equivalent firepower to the Death Star (i.e. enough to demolish a planet with a single blast.), and though it was shaken and damaged, the Big E was still able to make a fight of it after several shots. I highly doubt, that the Death Star could hit the Enterprise enough to destroy it before Chekov scores a bullseye with one of its 250 photon torpedoes.
How it would end?
Starfleet would force the Empire into a treaty of unconditional surrender. Scotty would reverse engineer Vader's armor for use on Captain Pike--oh and Kirk would have a sore throat for a day or two.
Spock wouldn't, even though he was also chocked out by Vader. Vulcans heal faster.

HELL YES!!! ABSOLUTELY "HELL YES!!!"
I thought the SAME thing. Of course, the "sequel" to this image would probably look something like this: [link]
it happens all the time in the episodes.
I hadn't thought about the medichlorian issue, but you're right! Of course, the lab-grown medichlorians might not last more than 24 hours or so (a minor detail written into the episode to explain why Kirk and Co. don't have Force powers forever), but they'd work long enough to enable Kirk to best Vader on his own terms. Now THAT is something the rabid fanboy in me desperately wants to see!
Oh, and your post-fight Kirk-to-Vader speech was AWESOME. You sure you didn't used to write for TOS?
And you're definately right about the Enterprise VS the Death Star! See, the Rebellion used small fighters to attack the Death Star because the DS's shields may have been able to keep big capital ships away, but small fighters could "fit" through. The Enterprise wouldn't be able to fit through, either. But...thankfully, the Empire already unwittingly assisted the Enterprise by capturing it and holding it near one of the hangar bays, thereby placing it in a location that's already inside the shields. Kirk merely has to get back to his ship and escape ala Han Solo and Princess Leia, except he'd order Sulu to turn right back around and attack the station. The nearby Star Destroyers wouldn't be able to get through the DS's shields to defend it, and we both know the turret guns and TIE fighters would be no match against the Enterprise.
And shucks, 250 photon torpedoes? The TOS Enterprise used energy torpedoes rather than physical ones, so as long as the torpedo banks are energized, Chekov has unlimited torpedoes to use until he gets one into the exhaust port (which they would know about, since Spock stole the plans right out of the Death Star computers while still on board it, using his tricorder).
Vader's armor on Captain Pike?!? YES!!!!
