I painted this from a photograph I took at my home in Carthage NC. We have some of the tallest pines I know of. I've never seen any taller. We measured a fallen tree once 125 feet from the bottom to top. Anyway, I painted this for mom for mother's day. I thought it would be perfect to wake up to.Related content

wow, it captures the spirit of place wonderfully! especially the light. i find the floor of the space a bit awkward, may be the sense perspective. but this is essentially a superficial remark, one needs to look at the painting in person. but great job indeed, keep it up
