I feel like I poured my heart and soul into this thing. It was so fun, even though I had to completely redo the background twice to get it looking right. The lighting and effects were also difficult, and after my perfectionism ran its course I feel really proud of this.
So yeah, Prophet's the guardian of the core of Cybertron, AKA the spark of Primus.
Another huge thanks to Megan1289 who helped come up with the idea! I think it suits her. ^^

Are you in the Star Wars Fandom by chance? I was curious because his helm is similar to to the Mandalorian helmet armor of characters like Boba Fett, Who are, well, mandalorians.

I don't have it completely worked out yet.
But so far, she's been the guardian of the Core since the Thirteen left Cybertron. Her job is to protect it from harm, and only allow bots to pass to it if they have a good reason to be there (such as Orion Pax, when he goes to become Optimus). There aren't many threats to the core since very few bots ever venture down there, and even so she can usually manage to fend them off without revealing herself (which would be why nobody knows about her regarding canon). But when the 'Cons infect the core with dark energon, she feels like she failed at her job.
Also, she's never been to the surface but I'm trying to figure out a reason she'd end up going there, since she still protects it even as she's healing. Usually any wounds she gets in a fight are healed by the core afterwards, and since that would no longer work after its infected, that may be the reason. If she got damaged too terribly she'd need to go up for repairs, but I really have no clue when or what would happen/who'd she'd meet when she went up.

Oh, interesting - especially the idea about never being on the surface. Well, as far as I remember the All Spark (which is the same as Core in your plot, right?) was taken from Cybertron into space so the Cons couldn't harm it. If so, she'd have no reason to guard an empty facility anymore.

Actually the Core and the AllSpark are different. The core is the spark of Primus, while the AllSpark is what creates Cybertronians (in TFP/my plot). It was sent into space to prevent the Decepticons from using it to create only Decepticons instead of letting the new bots choose for themselves. While the AllSpark was sent into space during the war, the 'Cons infected Primus' spark with dark energon so that the planet would only produce dark energon, and leave the Autobots with no fuel. However, this made the core shut down and 'die', needing thousands of years to heal on its own. So Prophet still protects it, so that Primus would not be permanently offlined while he was healing.

And other reason for her to go on the surface could be, I think, to check if Cybertron was really destroyed and dying - I mean, maybe she needed to check what implication infecting the cor had on the planet.

I imagine she'd become really depressed once reaching the surface. She heard there was fighting but never knew there was a full out war. She always imagined the surface would be bright and beautiful. Seeing the planet like it was after the Exodus would really suck for her.
