Description
liken me to stringent sandals, slipped onto floppy feet in the middle of
a drowned heath winter,
that belongs in towns so swollen
with wet their turgid trappings expand and explode,
one by one:
misfitting time and period is my purposed goal.
we drop on the thawed, frostbitten flesh
of a mother interred long ago,
long dismissed
since the cryotic winds gathered encumbering
heat, thoughts swiftly sucked in like
dust motes in the atmosphere,
softly swirling in frozen breezes intangible
(though they palpate my lungs with thuds)
crucify me on your metaphorical speeches, for any
comparison you make
is but a dense obstruction I must slither through,
a carcinogenic toxin to inspect and remove,
a bump that, like you, i will ignore.
