Description pointed lines of
a square jaw,
thrust forward in defiance
of conformity-
a genetic rebellion,
strength in bold strokes.

small, straight, stubborn.
a dash of spunk and the
nose is set -
blue whirlwind eyes mimic
the tears cried,
the water lost.

luxurious hair -
clouds-in-your-coffee hue,
spilling over broad shoulders to
dance past a full bosom,
gracefully adorning nature's best.

eyebrows like lightning bolts
forced to lie still - dark slashes
set low, reaching
towards the high
cheekbones reflecting
the light;

her beauty is impeccable,
wild, breathtaking,
the irish eye of the storm,
the scandinavian star in the
twilight sky.

so she is told.

but words float past as
easily as her daydreams,
and sadness and doubt
is easily drowned in irish
mead,
for the irish swede.
