I'm not sure if I'm going into too much deep, metaphorical analysis here, but you've seemed to make what could be contradictions harmonize in this photo. = )
For example, the shell has a defined, hard edge, and yet you've made it look softened while keeping its distinction from the similar colors of the background. The clover and the dark soil look so rich, so alive, and yet delicate too. Simple on the surface, but complex underneath. But this is just my opinion.
