My speculation as to how the tone of SMBZ episode 3 will be like. Just replace the Amphibia characters with Sonic ones!
The Devil stood before her, its sinister red eyes staring right through her soul. The forest burned and smoldered around her. Debris was strewn about the ground. Her friends- Marcy, Sprig, Maddie, and several others- all lay helpless and defeated at the metal terror’s feet. But most distressing of all… that machine’s hand held a firm grip on Sasha’s neck, as if intending to slowly strangle the blonde to death.
Anne had no idea who or what this thing was, what it wanted with Amphibia, or why it was so unimaginably cruel. Not even the worst of King Andrias could compare to what it had done. She could sense its terrifying power- a power that far outclassed her own. But she knew that for the sake of her friends and world, she had to FIGHT- no matter how grave the odds were. After all…
There was nowhere left to run.
