I agree, it looks great. I have similar photos that I've taken the color out of everything but the flower, but I think this one looks better because of the choice of flower. Nice .

I really like this.. I'd also suggest making this into a series.. You could do another, but of a different kind of flower and in a broader area.. Like single out a single flower in a field.. That would be nice.. Then you could do another of a flower in the middle of some construction of some sort.. Kind of like saying that even in chaos, people should take a moment to observe beauty.. I dunno.. I'm ranting now..

Oh, this is very nice indeed! I like how the blossom is not only standing out in color, but it's also the only part of the pic in focus, which is a very nice touch. It's a really nice piece. However, I think that the composition could be more visually interesting if the focus wasn't directly in the middle of the piece. Different angles and different things going on are always fun to play with.
