Good morning!
Saturday is one of my favourite days, so much so that I spend the whole week deciding what to do. The truth is that the project is a mix of hobby and work and whatever I decide, it all comes down to the same thing: the project.

I made the perfect trap for myself🔑.
🚨 Trial period.
The week was short, because of father's day. In Colombia it was a holiday, so I hope everyone had a good time with their daddies and loved ones. As for me, I was at my older brother's house, with his wife and two children. We made empanadas and homemade aborrajados and had a couple of shots of tequila to accompany the celebration with my brother, the only boy of four and father of the family.

Otherwise I spent a lot of time trying to make things, and I made quite a few, but not the kind you can see explicitly. I thought about taking some videos and photos, but I'm going to give myself permission to just dedicate myself to detailing the technique, without worrying about recording the process. Let's call it "The Trial Period".
🅽Notion.
You rarely find a better app or way to organise information in the cloud than Notion. A few days ago I decided it would be a good time to give it a second chance, which I had found super confusing the first time. I love Bullet Journal, I have a couple of notebooks, bought at Dollar City, lots of markers and colours, which I used to fill them. Well, Notion is like one of those but digital and with the addition that it's stored in the cloud. It's extremely customisable, and now that artificial intelligence is included, even better (although you can only use it twenty times and then you have to buy it).

It works wonders. I've got the hang of Notion and, with each passing day, I realise how useful and satisfying it can be to organise routines, calendars, charts, etc, securely, with minimal investment and consistency over time. I spend less time thinking about what to do and can concentrate on the present moment, which is very useful when developing new skills and habits, or further developing existing ones.

I'm not going to lie, everyone knows I like to smoke, and as a person who smokes, I know that many of us deal with small daily discomforts, as it is more difficult to keep our hands clean, or some specific spaces we occupy for smoking. Exploring elements that can help keep smoking tidy has been the focus of my work over the last couple of days. With the material I have, I am making some prototypes and testing paint, drying, timing, design, etc.

I've been making some lists, step by step and descriptions. Everything has been going smoothly, very much in part because the new organization allows me to have everything in one place (Notion), so I worry less and do more.
👑 Benefits and goals.
It is the organisation of the portfolio that has almost literally forced me to become more organised. The portfolio is the letter of introduction where the best work should go, and as that is the reflection of previous work, I must not only put effort into organising what I have already done and, if possible, improve it, but I must simultaneously manage myself in the present, with the ideas that are flowing, which I cannot let go unnoticed.

Generating the benefits and starting to complete the objectives of the project is a task that will take me a little longer. I have a couple of ideas, but I'm working out the spaces in Notion to develop them further. It's a matter of rotating the priorities around.
