Practicing with GIMP+tablet.

Today, my favorite victim is Mrau-Mrau, my newest RPG character. She's a young razorclaw shifter and I am hoping this will somehow end up portraying her in her bloodied, shifted and genuinely POed form alongside her animal companion, an old, grumpy male wolf.

As you can see, I have a long way to go before I'll be able to submit any finished work and when I do, it'll clearly be the work of a person not very familiar with digital painting, but even so.

I hope the practice is worth it.
Right now I am kind of in a rut.
I find it very hard to finish my works in general, always did, and painting digitally is clearly no exception.

I think I'll have to look at some more tutorials for learning basic digital painting techniques...so if you happen to know any good videotuts (preferably, I seem to learn better that way) I'd really appreciate any links shared.
