It wasn't scanned by myself. I found this picture on internet then I tried to color it.
For me, L is awesome. He is one of the best (and unique) character of anime/manga.
I love coloring his skin. I wanted to make his skin a little bit darker, but L almost never go outside and it makes his skin looks pale, just like Willy Wonka in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. (the other reason is because L is Japanese, and Japanese have white skin like snow)
Haha...
Thinking about this made me laugh for few minutes. L and Willy Wonka are really similar in many ways. They love sweets, they almost never go outside, they don't meet (lots) people for several times, they have pale skin, they have their unique style (that make them special), etc.
Do you think so?

l is like willy wonka. but everyone says Mello seems more like him.. and also, most Japanese don't have very pale skin. Its more dark usually, its just that they consider pale skin beautiful so it gets so glorified that's all Americans get to see after a while. C: in the show they made L the image of what everyone considers ultimate Japanese hotness.... large dark eyes, very thin and slender, with pale skin....
