Description
A map of a mirror universe I devised, partially based of that of the Star Trek universe. It originally was going to be a universe where the Axis powers won the Second World War, but ultimately evolved into a more unique parallel universe. Being a parallel universe, it does not diverge from our timeline at any stage, but rather just developed in a similar but distinctly different fashion to ours.

The red nation is the Imperial Teutonic Order, often shortened to The Teutonic Empire or just The Empire. It was formed by a massed rebellion of Christianised German Warriors against the Romans. They established the Teutonic Empire which then rose to become one of the two great superpowers in the mirror world. It has an absolute monarchy, has a very Orwellian society and a notoriously militant foreign policy.

The yellow nation is the Rule of Five Roman Regents, often shortened to the Romanic Quintarchy or just The Quintarchy. It was formed several hundred years after the fall of the Roman Empire when the five states that spoke a Romanic language: France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Romania, joined together into a confederated empire to oppose the overbearing Teutonic Empire, and is now considered one of the two great superpowers. The Quintarchy is a Federal Oligarchy, a very brutal society and a very aggressive foreign policy.

The green nation is the Union of Sovereign States, often shortened to the Sovereign Union or just The Sovereignty. It was formed exactly the same way as the Soviet Union in our universe was, but a little earlier. It's formation was intended by the Teutonic Empire to rid once and for all the rival Slavic Empire, but they unfortunately just created a more efficient and powerful foe. While some consider it to be a third superpower, it is mostly thought just to be a great power. The Sovereignty is a single party state, with a decent and hardworking society, and a reasonable, but distrusting, foreign policy.

The blue nation is the Consortium of the Northern People, often shortened to the Northern Consortium or just The Consortium. It was formed when the countries in Northern Europe decided to merge together based on policies of democracy and socialism. And also as a way of trying to dissuade the Teutonic Empire from conquering them. Switzerland later joined them for the same reason. The Empire and The Quintarchy often accuse it of being a client state of the Sovereign Union. The Consortium is a representative democracy, with elements of direct democracy. It has a very peaceful and equal society and a very open and friendly foreign policy.

The purple nation is the Greco-Islamic Confederacy, often shortened to just The Confederacy. It was formed after the colonial rushes of The Empire and The Quintarchy began to slow as the two superpowers began to fight each other in the Colonial Wars. The remaining Muslim areas and Greece agreed to unite under one banner to protect themselves from the two superpowers. It is not considered of consequence by any of the three great powers. It is a kritarchy, with a reasonably religious society and a cautious, but welcoming, foreign policy.

The orange nation is the Republic of Asia, often shortened to the Asian Republic or just The Republic. It was formed in much the same way as The Confederacy; the remaining Asian communities agreed to settle their few remaing differences in order to unite under the common goal of not being devoured by the Empire or the Quintarchy. It is a very introverted power. It is a representative democracy, with a very refined and cultural society and with, as previously mentioned, a very introverted foreign policy; not interacting with outside powers accept for mutual protection pacts with The Consortium and The Confederacy.
