I've never seen Evangelion, but I know those characters. Since this is supposed to imply a yuri pairing, then I must say it is very well-done! I love to see girl-love in anime pairings. But the best of all are the ones that look like a yuri pairing should: natural and unashamed. There is nothing that should make them think that their love is abnormal, so it's great to see it presented so flawlessly like this.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to seeing the NSFW version, but that is more based on logic. Two sexy girls are better than one. Simple math. Despite that mentality, I truly do feel the way I said before about lesbian love. I even have a short story from my own life to prove it! I'd be happy to tell you it if you'd like. But I'd understand if you would rather not let me bore you with the details of my life. After all, I'm not exactly the best at summarizing. XD

I'm guessing that means you watch to hear the story then.

I was about 15 or 16 at the time (I think). One of my aunts that lived in Seattle back then suddenly gave us a call. She said she was going to be getting married and that the wedding would be at a small chapel near Niagra Falls. That Summer, we all went to attend it. I hadn't even met my Aunt Kelly before, so it was like meeting 2 new family members instead of one. Of course, back then almost everything regarding LGBT stuff was a foreign concept to me. I wasn't sure of what to think right away. On the drive there, I gave it some thought. How did I feel about the idea of a lesbian wedding? It didn't take me long to come to the conclusion that any form of true love deserves to be appreciated and recognized as such.
The trip was more like a vacation with a wedding in it. The whole wedding really was very small. It was literally only the family members who had joined us on the trip. About 12 people all together I think. My sister was the flower girl (despite already being a teenager, but she wanted that role anyway, so that was that.) and I was the ring bearer. I was a bit awkward the whole time and was barely paying attention to the ceremony itself. I had the rings in my pockets and they had to get my attention to remind me I was playing a part in it. XD
But as I saw it go on, I just kept thinking about how beautiful the moment was. These two women in love were making it official right before my eyes. It was something I was a bit honored to be a part of. An important moment for them in their lives, and I was a part of it! I soon realized exactly how much the concept appealed to me. Maybe it was the impact of the moment, but I have never forgotten it.

That was also around the time I was starting to get into anime and such. Before long I discovered the yuri genre and looked up a few animes from it. A few years later I discovered the much more specific shoujo-ai genre. The difference being that shoujo-ai is more about the emotions while yuri is more about the "passionate" side of it. But I had known it more as a general term until seeing the definition of each. So as you can imagine, a teenage boy like me who recently discovered the very real concept of two women in love led to......well let's just say I had a computer of my own. That aside, even among that sort of thing, I liked seeing a more natural love over a more lust-driven one. Anime made that easier to find. And now, your artwork, among others, can accurately portray a scene of two women, together showing the beauty of love as well as the female form. I also enjoy seeing the cuter side of shoujo-ai such as how it is shown in the anime Yuru Yuri.

The more I saw of it, the more I realized I liked seeing it and the more I understood exactly how and why I liked it along with the concept itself. I know now that I think that all forms of love should be treated exactly the same way as straight marriages. As perfectly natural and normal things that happen. Something that shouldn't be looked down upon nor awkwardly agreed about in the name of feigning acceptance. Marriage is between two humans. Gender doesn't matter. The heart wants what the heart wants and there is nothing unusual about that.

Yes you are right! This world needs more understanding and love!
In most countries, far from that.
It's a good story, which gives an example of tolerance and love

I'm glad to hear you liked it. Usually I don't have many interesting life stories. Only a handful at best. But something like that really stuck with me and left a lasting impression on my life.

Also, I'm not sure if this was a coincidence or if my mom just allowed me to be more exposed to it, but it seemed as if the concept didn't exist until I heard about it and then it was everywhere. On the news, political discussions about it. In school, a transgender student in one of my classes. In the media, a celebrity's child was planning to get a sex change. And a musician declared publicly that he was gay. Eventually, even in cartoons in recent years, canon bisexual couples or very strong hints at such a pairing. Korra and Asami, Princess Bubblegum and Marceline, Ruby and Sapphire, etc. Perhaps it really was simply a coincidence and my generation was the generation when gay rights started to become significant enough to be all over the place. That also allowed more people to come out about their sexual orientation or be less afraid to admit that they are not comfortable with the gender they were born with. Whatever the reason, I'm just glad I was able to have some small part in letting one couple realize their love and make it legally accepted. It really was as if the world had opened up to me after that event though. That was the second time that had seemed to happen to me. The first was being introduced to anime and the culture behind it(I mean the fan community, not Japanese culture in general.).

Anime had an impact on many people.
It is necessary to respect the choices of others
