Meet Grog; a Mountain troll from the Andes mountain range. As a child, he fell from his cliff side dwelling into the Amazon Jungle. He found himself lost, feeding on what he could find until making his way through Central America and into the States. He had meet countless of people who feared and even resented him. Only he grew numb to it as nothing anyone had could hurt him.

One thing about Grog; he has a strong sense of right and wrong. He stumbled upon four men beating on a lone woman and ran in to her rescue. This woman was Grace Optic. She rewarded Grog for his rescue with food, shelter and an education. Grog was pleased to have a companion who did not fear him and could stare him down when he had his grumpy fits. A strong bond grew between the two as Grog helped her search for her missing daughter using an obelisk of which one piece of it hangs on a necklace she had given her as a toddler.

Grog serves as Grace's protector and will protect other monsters if he feels he must or is ordered to do so. Grog does not see Grace as his master but as his partner. He deeply cares for Grace but fears nothing more will come out of their relationship other than being friends and partners in preserving monster kind.
