Description From what has been promoted through NVIDIA, the 'Speak Visual' campaign seems to focus and reflect on the ease of communication in what one can see as opposed to what has been spoken. The idea seems to reflect on the old adage, "A picture is worth a thousand words".

The inspiration of this picture came from the two mentioned ideas, ‘communicating without speaking’. To that effect, the character's mouth is kept covered. This, of course, would mean that the young woman is forced to communicate only with what one can see by looking upon her environment and herself, either by reading from her body language or looking into her eyes, which is the focus of the image. The eyes, considered to be the gateway to the soul, tend to speak through expression. After all, many children can tell they are in trouble simply from that ‘look’ in the eyes of those taking care of them. Hopefully, the character’s eyes are saying a lot, even in this snapshot of a moment.

Many of the images that are seen are but a snapshot of a story being told by the artist or the photographer. Sometimes there is a single image, other times there are many. And with today's media, the images can easily become videos and movies. But in the end, the artist or the photographer hope that the image, whether still or animated, real or imagined, speaks to those that view it. A hope the image may speak of beauty, speak of meaning, and, hopefully, speak of inspiration.

Long ago, people used cave paintings and hieroglyphics to ‘Speak Visual’. Today, people us everything from paper to the Internet to ‘Speak Visual’. And, already, people wonder how they will ‘Speak Visual’ in the future, telling their stories and inspiring others for times yet to come.
